Summer Programming

Summer time is not just vacation time. It is a time when youth have the opportunity to engage in unique learning activities and environments, and explore and develop new skills sets and interests. 

TCP Youth Empowerment Summer programs are full-day, week-long camps that provide all youth, ages 12-14 (rising 7-9th graders) the opportunity to:

  1. Learn & Develop Leadership Skills

  2. Gain Financial Literacy knowledge

  3. Participate in a Community Service project

  4. Gain hands on experiences with business professionals to learn about jobs

  5. Create & Outline Goals for future success

  6. Enhance physical strength and abilities

Through small group projects and activities, campers will develop and enhance the following 21st century skills:

  1. Emotional Intelligence

  2. Teamwork/Collaboration

  3. Communication  

  4. Critical Thinking

  5. Problem Solving 

  6. Financial Literacy

  7. Goal Setting
